Shannon & Michael. A Green Point, Yamba Wedding.
Yamba is a beautiful coastal town on the Far North Coast, and for Shannon and Michael’s wedding, she gave us the perfect day. Soft, gentle sea breezes, cloudless skies and a simply sensational sunset. The couple live in Brisbane but have a farm just outside of Yamba and are often in the area. They fell in love with all that Yamba has to offer and so choosing it as the location for their wedding was an easy decision.
The ceremony was held at Green Point overlooking the ocean. Shannon and Michael met through the UQ Soccer Club and many of the friendships of those in attendance, also sprouted from the club, so it was no surprise that the bridal party took a short break from our location shoot for a brief boys-vs-girls soccer match. After the match, Bill from Long Black Limo, chauffeured the bridal party down to the Yamba ferry where everyone enjoyed a sunset cruise along the river and up to the Yamba Shores Tavern for the couple’s reception.
All in all it was a gorgeous day and I’m just happy to have been able to play a part in it.
